Many people know about CFC but have a hard time explaining its unique role in solving community problems. Here are a few helpful points to remember when you give a presentation about CFC.
· CFC allows federal employees to support charities they feel strongly about. Payroll deduction provides a convenient way to give in small increments that can add up to a lot!
· Approximately 1,800 National charities and 200 Local charities participate in the Central Oklahoma CFC. In our community alone, the local charities are helping 1 out of 3 people in central Oklahoma every year!
· CFC assures donors that their gifts will arrive at the charity(ies) they designate and that those agencies are efficient and effective in their work.
· CFC is the world's largest and most successful workplace giving
campaign. By giving collectively, federal employees are making a tremendous
impact on our nation and our world.
